The Cover
RSCI patterns its soft covers as a full one piece design meaning all parts of the cover such as, the body, the end caps, the bonnet, the bonnet cap are all sewn together prior to the insulation phase. This eliminates a zero R-factor at all stitch points. A complete one piece bonnet to body constructed soft cover reduces mass heat loss out and eliminates air flow in. We design our covers to conform to the shape of the valve or piece of equipment it is intended to insulate, therefore eliminating unnecessary air pockets which can promote freeze up. The use of high quality materials and a superior design provide years and years of service in any and all environments. (More spec information upon request).
Useful Applications
Removable reusable insulated soft covers have been an extremely useful cost saving product for the construction industry. Aside from the valves, flanges, instrumentation, gauges, exchanger heads and channel flanges, manway covers, etc.. that we encounter on a daily basis out in the field on various construction sites, their are many other applicable uses for soft insulated covers.
